Project Tikvah provides ongoing spiritual and moral support to clients and their families from onset of crisis through recovery, rehabilitation and successful reintegration into the community. Project Tikvah also provides parents with assistance in navigating complicated legal and medical systems to obtain LPS Conservatorships* for their son or daughter when appropriate.

We often become friends for life with recovered clients. Many even join our program as a part of their recovery to mentor others facing similar struggles.

“I really appreciate everything you have done for me so far. I appreciate that when I was running into the streets, delusional, you held me back from danger and brought me to a hospital for help. You had people visit me in the hospital and really cared how I was doing. You encouraged me to stay in treatment and start my life anew.” From Haim, a recovering client

*An LPS Conservatorship gives legal authority to one adult (called a conservator) to make certain decisions for a seriously mentally ill person (called a conservatee) who is unable to take care of him or herself.
